Matt Vosincar, Introvert, is a genius when it comes to descriptive language that engulfs your soul as he speaks to you through his spoken word and hip hop. Where Does It Come From, Where Does It Go Forever? is a small taste for what will hopefully become something big with his plans to release a full-length album in December. But sometimes fewer is better, and the quality that comes from independent home-recorded music far beats that of some professional albums.
“And if I had to choose between silence or death, I would pick the latter.”
These songs take time. They explode with imagery and language that makes you stop what you are doing to focus on what your brain is listening to. You need to take two or three or four or five listens in order to fully satiate the art that’s here. It’s like a good bottle of wine—it takes time, taste, and the appreciation of all the ingredients, which include background recordings from artists in the Tampa Bay area, that blend together and create something that makes you want more.
And we want more.
